I like this oven overall. The pizza comes out fast, nice crust, good flavor. First couple of times I was happy with it. But the temperature is kind of all over the place. It’ll get really hot, then suddenly drop more than I expected. So I end up standing there checking it a lot instead of just letting it do its thing. Not a dealbreaker. Still makes good pizza. Just a little annoying when you’re trying to keep things moving

The pizza oven does work, so maybe I’m being a little picky, but the setup was more annoying than I expected. I kept wondering if I was missing something obvious or just making it harder than it needed to be. Once it was finally ready, it was fine, just not quite as good as I’d hoped

Am I missing something here? My delivery still hasn’t shown up, and I haven’t received any clear update about where it is. Frustrating.

I bought this last week thinking it would be a bit more impressive for the price, but after using it for a few days, I just don’t think it’s worth what I paid. It’s okay, but i expected more.

The pizza oven itself works fine, but the weird part is the accessories feel cheaper than I expected. The peel scratched up quickly, and the cover just feels kind of thin for the price. I expected a bit better from ooni

It uses gas a lot faster than I expected. I thought maybe I was doing something wrong at first, but it just seems to burn through fuel really quickly. I also had to chase them a couple of times about my complaint, which made the whole thing more frustrating than it needed to be.

The oven works fine overall, but it was a bit more fiddly than I thought it would be. I even went back through the email receipt and instructions to make sure I hadn’t missed anything. Getting the temperature right took ages, and I kept ending up with one side of the pizza burnt while the other side was still not quite there. Maybe it gets easier with practice, but for me it wasn’t as user-friendly as I’d hoped.

It works perfectly fine, but I thought it would be easier to bring along with me. I’ve tried taking it on a few quick trips, including one where I was helping my sister out for the weekend, and it just felt more awkward and heavier than I expected. Not a bad item, just not as portable as I was hoping.

You really have to watch it nonstop and keep turning the pizza fast. I’m sure some people enjoy dialing in the technique, but for me it ended up feeling more stressful than fun...

I had a frustrating time trying to deal with the warranty claim. The return window didn’t really help much, or at least it didn’t feel like it did in my case. Support kept asking me for the same information a few times, and then eventually they still said no. Maybe I just got unlucky, but the whole process was annoying.

Putting this together took way longer than I expected, because apparently clear instructions are too much to ask for. Some of the parts didn’t line up quite right, so I spent a lovely amount of time double-checking videos just to figure out basic steps. For the price, I really thought the setup would be smoother, but nope, it turned into a little weekend project I never signed up for.

The instructions are okay, but they don’t really help much once you’re dealing with the mess. I use it less now because cleaning it feels like a whole weekend chore.

I bought this thinking it would be more of an all-around outdoor oven, not just something decent for pizza. Pizza turns out fine, but the second I try anything that needs slower cooking or a different temperature setup, it becomes way more hassle than it should be.

For the price, I really expected more flexibility, and it’s made me lose some trust in the claims around it. Swapping things around gets annoying fast, and now I’m stuck feeling like I paid for a lot more than I actually got.

Umm, I really wanted this to work out, but the gas burner keeps losing heat while I’m cooking. My pizzas end up coming out pale and uneven, which is frustrating. For me, it’s just not worth the hassle.

Am I the only one who couldn’t really get help from support? I reached out expecting some kind of useful response, but it was painfully slow and didn’t actually solve anything for me. Overall, not a great experience.

This was disappointing. I waited forever for it to heat up, and by the time it was ready, the whole pizza night vibe was kind of ruined. Not something I’d count on when you’re hungry and just want things to move along
